I am an open metroseual who does everything like a stereotypical gay man, I am freely open about my metrosexuality. Everyone thinks i'm gay when they meet me and I have to explain the whole meteroseual thing. But I do have gaydar, I can tell whos gay, whos gay and covering it up, whos straight but is hiding their metrosexuality. I think i's sad how so many guys are afraid to let their true colours through.

I live in Pachuca, a tiny town in Mexico, and as you well know this country is famous for Macho Men and Tequila. It was my third date with Armando and he described himself as a "Metrosexual", although I read a lot I realized that it was a new term for me. As soon as I could I enter the_____ and search for the term. It was what he explained... what a a terrible situation for me... is not that I liked him that much, but he acted like a "normal" guy, I mean, I never perceived that fear against been conservative or regular. The last guy I dated have the same disorder, so I am starting to think that I am a magnet. Afraid, Vanessa

O.K. so I am at my fiends house last night when her brother tells me he is metrosexual. I can tell you right now that this kid is living in pure denial, he is so attracted to his own sex, it is carzy. I am mixed on this whole subject, did being "gay" or "straight" become too boring for our society? Here is my sugesstion, BE WHO YOU ARE, TITLES ARE NOT NEEDED! Live your life how you wish, remember that every one is special and it is so wrong to classify human beings. I am Me, a very unique and wonderful human, just like all of you. Don't let a fad overtake who you are, find yourself and you will be content.

Is it just possible that being metro sexual is merely a term for men who take care of themselves physically and are able to be open minded to the world we live in. I would hardly think that would make them gay, near gay or closet gay? I love the idea of men who shave regularly, use skin care products, dress well and use cologne. A bigger turn on is men who don't need to spit,sweat,swear, snarl, guzzle beer and gnaw on a bone to be real men.

Here we go, another label.So just because I wash my hair, wear deoderant, perfume, brush my teeth ect. I need a label. How about "someone who takes care of themselves", that would be awesome. People, get over it. A label creates prejudice and bias.

I think being a metrosexual has alot of characteristics as a gay person does, but I do not know where the line is drawn...any ideas?

I think the idea of a metrosexual man ia a load of rubbish. In times past like in the 17th century men cared how they looked, ie wigs and fancy gold clothes. its always been about money, if youve ogt it you use it to better youself, your social circle determines what standard of appearnace you have to live up to. I am obbsessed with designer clothes, and hairstyles and I am straight. I even get fake tans, and wear leather trousers sometimes. It happens that I am a fan of pop star culture and admire their clothing range. Backstreets Back Alright!!!

ok, I work with a kid, nathan. he is the prissiest guy on the planet and everyone calls him gay. He's even made a few comments toward that fact. I'm thinking that Metrosexual is a great term to describe him. At least, of course, until he realizes that he is, in fact, gay. So if there are any boys out there up for a challenge...
